February....March....

Richie and I made a trip to Disney Land.

Richie loved    LOVED the toy story ride in California Adventures. Maybe a little too much? We rode it about 5 times and we were only there 2 days...

Just a picture of my sister Whitney and her little babe Cruzie Woozie.  She has the most beautiful hair. I am so jealous. It seriously looks like a movie stars hair when she does these loose curls. so pretty.

In March Richie filmed his cousins wedding where he was: a family member, a groomsmen as well as the videographer.  That was a little crazy! haha it was a fun wedding and we love Parker and Nichole! Yay for marriage!

Cruzie getting comfortable while we go run errands. Neck pillow, cozie, water bottle, and apparently something to eat in his left hand. All set.

Someone turned 25 in February!!!!! We took this picture on his birthday and I am pretty sure my next door neighbors thought we were some teenage hoodlums causing trouble in the street because we were trying to get creative with pictures and lighting a ton of sparklers. Actually come to think of it, maybe they saw that it was us. Anyway, Happy birthday lovie. I love ya so much!!!!!

This little buggy turned one in march!!! I can't believe he is getting so old. He is the cutest little boy and I am so happy he is my nephew. I am totally obsessed with my little Cruz Ricky Thomas. He is the cutest. #cruzrthomas.

Farewell Elder Mattingly

-Farewell Elder Mattingly-

My little brother Cline got his mission call in I think it was september to Seoul, South Korea. Which is where my grandma is from. Yes, I am in fact 1/4 Korean although you have probably never seen a whiter person in your life. Anyway, that's beside the point. So Cline got his mission call and he left January 15th.  He is the only boy in the little Mattingly sibling group and we definitely had a hard time letting our little Cliney boy leave us for two years to a foreign country, but we also were so excited for him! He has been in Korea since March and he is loving it! He is doing well with the language and absolutely loves the people.  My dad has a half sister that is actually full Korean and Buddhist and Cline was able meet up with her and her family a couple of weeks ago. What a cool experience!

Richie put together a video of us dropping off Elder Mattingly and it is my nephew Cruz's favorite thing to watch!

We love you Elder Mattingly and are so proud of you.  We love hearing from you every week and we miss you!

You can find Cline's mission site here if you want to read all about his adventures and teaching in Korea.

Here is the Video Richie made of us sending Cline off. Incase the video doesn't work, here is the youtube link.

Winter! Almost caught up!

...Christmas/Some Winter...

So this winter was really fun! Since I was doing an internship at Gatehouse, I was able to get some pointers and watch how they designers decorate the tree's and make them look so incredible! I tried my best to incorporate what I had learned from them into decorating my own tree, I still have a ways to go but hey, we were happy with how it turned out!

^^^Christmas Eve with all of my cousins and their families, my family and of course baby Cruzie. I have the cutest nephew and trying to get a picture of kids all looking at the camera is hilariously impossible I think.

^^^We got to skype with Elder Cruser in Tonga

^^^Christmas night, pretty excited about our Christmas! It was awesome...

^^^Going to SLC to meet up with our friends Chelsea and Elliot to go to temple square.

^^^Chelsea found these Mentos on their honeymoon and got them for me because they are my favorite kind ever (I discovered them in France when we went) but I have not been able to find them anywhere in the U.S. needless to say, I was in heaven. Strawberry lime Mentos are the best things invented. Ever.

^^^Picture that Richie took at the Ice Castles in Midway. Those were incredible. We had a lot of fun wandering about the castles
with all of my family.

^^^Somebody turned 25!!! Yay Richie!

Anyway, I was going to post pictures of our Christmas tree but apparently I can't find the pictures. I will have to post them someday to document. Maybe a #TBT to Christmas post sometime in the future.

Fall 2013... Slowly Catching Up.

...Fall 2013...

As I said before, this past fall semester was way to intense for me.  18 credits is something that was way to stressful for me. I don't know how some people do that or more every semester. IT WAS THE MOST STRESSFUL 4 MONTHS OF MY LIFE.  Okay, so maybe all of it wasn't so bad. My brother Cline was doing a semester at BYU with me before his mission so it was really fun to take a class with him, and I got to do this incredible internship at an interior design/furniture store called The Gatehouse. I died almost everyday when I saw all of the amazing displays and home furnishings. Some day I will have a house and be able to buy stuff from there! Also these pictures are semi out of order, so brace yourselves.

^^^Fall semester started. Sending my boy off on his first day of fall semester.

^^^My little brother Cline got his mission call to SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA. Those that don't know, we are 1/4 Korean and still have lots and lots of family out there, so we were all so sososososososos excited about his call! It is perfect for him because.... well..... WE HEART ASIANS.

^^^Cruzie liked to go to the high school football games!

^^^Cruzie at his first BYU game!

^^^Cruz with my mom at gardner village! Such a fun day!

^^^I definitely chopped my hair off and I definitely and doing a weird duck face (ugh. the worst) and I definitely loved it for the first little while... now I want my hair to grow back fast!

^^^My favorite chair from my internship at The Gatehouse. I may or may not have sat in it a couple times each time that I was there working.... It is hands down the most comfortable and cute chair ever!!

^^^Picture of my dad because he was the cutest little kid and had a birthday in October.

^^^So I realize I look a little weird in this, but I think my outfit is pretty awesome and the colors I enjoy them a lot... hahah I am weird. I know.

^^^apparently Cruz is pretty much all that I took pictures of this fall. Oh well, at least he is cute to look at!

^^^Cline and I did a project turning our sister Carly into Cleopatra and him into Marc Anthony. It was quite the production!

^^^Cruzie at gardner village. He LOVED the witches!! I am obsessed with him.

^^^My dad may or may not have been on the news for a second shown being angry with some bad calls at a BYU game. Die hard cougar fans over here guys.

^^^Richie got the opportunity to go to Nashville to do a video shoot for a shark tank update on the company Kisstixx. He LOVED Nashville and he was pleasantly surprised by how charming that city was.

^^^This is what happens when you get home from school at 7:00 pm Halloween night and decide last minute to dress up. Haha we look so weird. But we had fun passing out candy to all the kids at my parents house.

^^^My mom's family had a murder mystery dinner this fall and we tried to get into character for this picture. I would definitely say mine was an epic fail but Richie looks fantastic!

^^^Just a cool picture of Richie in Salt Lake!

Happy late fall!!

summer 2013.... yeah, i am that far behind. woops!

...summer 2013...

so last semester was pretty crazy, i was in 18 credits and i am the type of person that can barely handle 12 so i definitely neglected this little thing.  but here are some pictures from this past summer that we took, and i am realizing that richie and i are the worst about taking pictures.... so sorry there isn't a great selection!

it was a really fun summer and we were able to go do some cool things. we spent most of it hanging out with family, working, eating snowcones, swimming and unfortunately going to school. but besides school, i would say it we had a pretty awesome time!
